My House conducts regular evaluation and assessments of its program..
• Students are tested in word recognition, vocabulary, spelling and math at the beginning and the end of each school year. The data is analyzed to determine if students are making statistically significant gains. The My House children are making these gains.
• Students are surveyed three times a year about their satisfaction with the after-school and summer camp programs. Students rate the program on a 5 point scale with 5 representing “strongly agree.” Our aggregate scores have been 4.5 out of 5.
• Parents are surveyed three times a year on their satisfaction with the after-school and summer camp program. Parents rate the program on a 5 point scale with 5 being “strongly agree.” Our aggregate scores is 4.5 out of 5.
• Students’ report cards (with parent permission) are reviewed quarterly to determine whether or not they are maintaining or improving their school grades.
•LEAP and IOWA test scores are obtained (with parent permission) from students who attend the public schools. These test scores are used to determine how well the students who attend My House regularly compare to with similar students.
• Student attendance records are maintained and show that students attend My House programs regularly.
